There are a lot of exciting new updates coming to Ford's vehicle lineup for 2025. From the retro Bronco to the fastest American car on the Nürburgring, the Mustang GTD, a lot is happening in 2025.
Ford Bronco
2025 brings the Free Wheeling trim to the Bronco. Reminiscent of 70s sunset-style paint jobs, the Free Wheeling is based on the Big Bend model and is available with the Sasquatch package for some serious off-road ability. The Bronco Stroppe Edition will also be released in 2025, recalling the Stroppe Baja Broncos of the '60s and '70s. Great choices for drivers in Jacksonville, IL, looking to relive the 70s
Bronco Sport
The Bronco Sport comes into its own in 2025. A larger 13.2-inch center touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster replace the old 8.0-inch screen. SYNC 4 is now featured, allowing for wireless phone connectivity. The Sasquatch package is also being added as an option for the Outer Banks and Badlands trims for 2025.

The big news for the Mustang is it's turning 60 years old in 2025. With that birthday comes an exclusive anniversary edition with paint colors and other features that call back those first pony cars. As mentioned, the Mustang GTD is also being released for drivers in Beardstown looking to crush local track records.
Mustang Mach-E
One exciting update for the Mustang Mach-E is lower prices. A heat pump has also been added to every model to enhance performance and warm the interior. Models equipped with BlueCruise now feature automatic lane changes. A few appearance packages and paint choices round out the updates for the Mustang Mach-E
Ford Explorer
The interior of the Ford Explorer has been overhauled for 2025. The new interior offers more comfort and upgraded materials that offer a soft touch to drivers in Pittsfield, IL. The grille and other front-end parts have been refreshed to give a new look to the venerable Explorer. A few appearance options have been added so drivers can customize the look of their Explorer. BlueCruise and the Ford Digital Experience are also available on the 2025 Explorer.
Ford Expedition
The biggest change for the 2025 Ford Expedition is the new split tailgate. With the lower section dropping while the top still rises, loading in tight spots should be easier, and shins hitting hitches should be eliminated when bulky items are put in the back. The Timberline trim has been replace with the Tremor to fit the Ford truck lineup better.
Ford Maverick
Besides being voted one of Car and Drivers Top Ten, the Maverick has a few other exciting announcements. The Maverick Lobo is being released. This sport-style truck features a paddle shift transmission, lowered suspension, and bigger brakes, making driving a blast. Other updates include darkened headlamp covers and interior trim colors. The infotainment system has also been upgraded to SYNC 4, a 13.2-inch main screen, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
Ford Ranger
The Ranger keeps updates pretty calm for 2025 with new paint choices and a new appearance package.
Ford F-150
Gone is the base V6, being replace by the turbo charged 2.7-liter V6. Ford BlueCruise and a head-up display are available as options on the F-150, as is the Pro Access Tailgate.
Ford Super Duty Trucks
The Ford Super Duty trucks have a few updates that should aid in towing for 2025. An onboard scale and Smart Hitch system are available so drivers in Mount Sterling, IL, always know their load. Auxiliary cameras offer a better view, and trailer tire pressure monitoring is available. A few changes to the available paint colors round out the new for the Super Duty trucks.
